What to include in your message
- For corrections: the page URL, the line or paragraph in question, and the source you believe contradicts what we wrote. Pointing to a primary source (FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, BLS, IRS) helps us verify and update faster.
- For topic suggestions: the specific beginner question you want explained — for example "how to calculate APR on a balance" or "how the Roth IRA five-year rule works." Generic topic ideas are useful, but specific questions are easier to turn into a useful page.
- For research questions: the article and the number or claim you want verified. We can usually point to the underlying public-data source.
